Death notice for the town of: Sydenham, Province: Ontario
It has been many years since I spoke with Kate and I just learned of her passing on Facebook; I also learned through the postings that Kate loved and is loved by friends, family and her fur babies. In the early 80s I met Kate through my brother Michael Windsor; she and my mother, Shirley became friends and corresponded until 2014 or 15 [when my mother’s health declined]. Kate was loved by my family and for me became an inspiration for the woman I wished to become. I remember smiles, much laughter, patience, kindness, Coronation Street, her plant “Spot” before her beloved llahsa apso “Pouda” joined them. When Kate moved to Kingston in 1991(?) Pouda came to my parents’ home and was loved by all, enduring the hands on love of my toddler Nicole. I cherish my love for and my memories of Kate. I will dearly miss Kate; to her many friends and family I offer heartfelt condolences.
