Obituary of Kathleen Veronica McNeilly
MCNEILLY, Kathleen Veronica (nee Flint) – Peacefully with her family by her side, Kathleen McNeilly died on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Beloved wife of the late William McNeilly. Dear sister of Cicely Roberts & her husband Sam, North Wales, Peter Flint & his wife Greta, Mississauga, Joan Williams & her husband Roy, North Wales and Helen Mouland & her husband Jeremy, Sarnia. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James & Agnes Flint.
Following a working life in Toronto and Campbellford, Ontario, Kathy and her (late) husband, Bill, moved to Sarnia to enjoy their retirement years. They immediately became active members of the Sarnia Lawn Bowling Club and the Strangway Senior’s Centre where they made a number of very good friends.
Kathy was a loyal daughter, wife, sister, friend and a fun-loving generous aunt to her many nieces and nephews and their families. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered always.
Her family would like to thank the staff of the Wellness Program at Landmark Village and the Palliative Care Team at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their loving care and support.
A life well lived by a woman well loved.
Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home, & Cremation Centre (519-344-3131). As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may make donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N. Christina St., Sarnia, N7T 5W3.
