It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Karen Ann Robinson, who passed away peacefully on Thursday September 24, 2020 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Sydney Mines she was the daughter of the late Angus Sr. and Florence (Halley) MacKinnon.
Karen was a kind loving soul who was happiest when spending time with her family. She and Joe shared their home and hearts for many years being foster parents to many children.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Joe, her three sons, Brian (Eileen), Kevin (Nancy) and Clinton (Jackie), 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Elizabeth (Russ), and brother, Patty (Linda).
Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her brother Angus and sister-in- law Rhea.
