John’s Obituary
MEUSE, John Cyril Jr. – age 85, Arcadia, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born May 26, 1935 in Wakefield, Mass., he was a son of the late John Cyril Sr. and Fannie (Dulong) Muise. John worked as a bloodworm harvester, having previously worked at Dow Chemical in Toronto and at Allwood in Yarmouth, and as a landscaper in the United States. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and sports, especially baseball and hockey. He was a fan of the Maple Leafs, the Blue Jays and the Yarmouth Mariners. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Agnes G. (Doucette) Meuse, as well as by their three children, Mark Meuse (Shelly Muise), Yarmouth; Carol Roberts, Arcadia and Michael Meuse, Meteghan; three grandchildren, Neil, Jordan and Travis; great grandchildren, Gray, Sloan, Kingston, Zayne and Hallee. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of John’s life will be announced at a later date.
