Joan Irene Cooper
February 25, 1946 – July 3, 2020
Joan was born February 25, 1946 in Beaverlodge, AB to parents, Melvin and Irene Funk.
She married Leslie Cooper on December 10, 1962 and called Fort St. John, BC their home.
Their son Kevin arrived in 1963, followed by their daughter, Wendy in 1967.
Their family expanded with weddings and grandchildren, adding to their enjoyment of life.
After many years of driving school bus, they retired to Tumbler Ridge, BC. They decided to try out Creston, BC before calling Quesnel, BC her last home.
After a long battle with Cancer, Joan passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 at home surrounded by family and devoted dog, Rascal.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
