Jennifer Lynn Landry
March 8, 1977- October 13, 2020
It is with deep regret and unimaginable heartache that the family announces her sudden passing on October 13, 2020 at the age of 43.
Jennifer will be lovingly remembered by her pride and joy, Charlie Nadeau. Her former spouse and father of Charlie, Sonny Nadeau, daughter, Hayden Nadeau (Georgia Nadeau), her partner, Derek Greer and his son, Foster. Beloved Mother, Lilianne Jobson, Sister, Kayla Landry, Sister Leahan Parrott (Phillip Parrott) Niece, Jessica Parrott. Grandfather, George Jobson and Grandmother, Collette Ames. She will be remembered by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins as well as countless close friends and colleagues of the Temiskaming Shores Detachment of OPP and Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service. Jennifer is predeceased by her father, Noel Landry.
We will always remember her infectious smile and her caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be missed but when you think of Jennifer, celebrate the great memories you have. Remember that life is fragile and to live life like Jenn, to the absolute fullest.
Her spirit name is “light that goes on forever” and as the name suggests, she brought so much light into our lives that even though she has left us, her light will remain forever.
Remembrance contributions can be made to the existing Landry Memorial Fund organized by Rob Maki.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Matachewan First Nation (outdoors). Please be reminded of the provincial guidelines and wear your mask. Social distancing must be respected.

  1. I first met Jen at police college. She was a dedicated student with an unmistakeable calmness to her that was very unique. We kept in contact after graduation with an occasional call or text over the years and her pride when she spoke of Charlie always beamed through the phone when we did. She spoke of how lucky she was to be Charlie’s mother and adored spending time with her. News of her passing came at such a shock. My deepest condolences to her loved ones. She was truly a very special person who touched so many lives. Generous caring and sincere. My thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.
