C’est avec tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Jean-Claude Larouche à l’âge de 80 ans, au Foyer Extendicare, le jeudi 19 novembre 2020. Jean-Claude était membre actif des Chevaliers de Colomb et avait fondé les Alcooliques Anonymes de Moonbeam. Il aimait faire la pêche, jouer au golf, cueillir des petits fruits, jouer aux cartes et surtout taquiner jeunes et moins jeunes. Il laisse dans le deuil ses sœurs : Fleurette Larouche de Deux-Montagnes (Québec), Paulette Filion (Albert) de Moonbeam, Estelle Lapointe (Paulo) de West Kelowna, C.B. et Joceline Matson (Barry) de Thunder Bay; ses frères Yvon (Louise) de Medicine Hat (Alberta), Daniel de Calgary (Alberta) et Denis de Kapuskasing ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut précédé par ses parents, Médéric Larouche et Mariette Vandal; ainsi que cinq frères : Luc, Gérald, Roger, Baptiste et Normand. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le mardi 24 novembre en l’église Nativité-de-Marie de Moonbeam à 10h30 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignages de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’organisation de votre choix. ©
We regret to announce the death of Jean-Claude Larouche at the age of 80 years, at Extendicare nursing home, on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Jean-Claude was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous of Moonbeam. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, picking small fruits, playing cards and – especially – teasing young and old. He leaves to mourn his passing his sisters Fleurette Larouche of Deux-Montagnes (Quebec), Paulette Filion (Albert) of Moonbeam, Estelle Lapointe (Paulo) of West Kelowna, B.C. and Joceline Matson (Barry) of Thunder Bay; his brothers Yvon (Louise) of Medicine Hat (Alberta), Daniel of Calgary (Alberta) and Denis of Kapuskasing; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Médéric Larouche and Mariette Vandal; as well as five brothers: Luc, Gérald, Roger, Baptiste and Normand. A celebration of life will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, at Nativité-de-Marie church in Moonbeam, with Father Gérald Chalifoux as officiant. As expressions of sympathy, the family will gratefully acknowledge donations to the organization of your choice. ©
