James (Jim) Patrick Barrington was born January 7, 1957 in St. John’s, NL and died suddenly in Holyrood, NL at the age of 63 years.
Jim was a kind, humble man who took pride in his Family and to those he held close and dear to his heart. He has always been known to offer a helping hand to anyone, and he will be truly missed by all.
He was predeceased by his; parents, Ida (nee Comerford) and John Barrington, his sister Rose White, Brother in-law Dick White and his brother Morris Barrington.
Jim is lovingly remembered by his: Companion Jean McRoberts, Children; David Barrington, Laura (Jason Kraft) Barrington and Cynthia Barrington, grandchildren Veronica Martens, Scott Quick and Jayla Lemaire, siblings: David (Tina) Barrington, Frank (Heather King) Barrington, Judy (Blair Tilley) Barrington and Bernadette Liick, numerous nieces and nephews to whom he was very close with and his aunt Laura Bonia.
Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

  1. My condolences to the family! I had the pleasure of working with Jim at the NLYC. He was such a kind , sweet man always willing to lend a hand and offer up advice to me when I started working in 2002.I really appreciated his friendship. Thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
