Jagas, Ivan:
Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care in Kitchener, on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Ana (predeceased – 2016) for over 61 years. Loving father of Dusko (predeceased – 1986) and his wife Zlata (Goldie) and Ivan and his wife Tina. “Tata Stari” of Danny (Michelle), Jacob, Matthew, Samuel and Jane and great grandfather of Dario, Miliana and Mateo. Predeceased by his parents and siblings.
Ivan’s family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Guests must RSVP to attend the visitation and please wear a face mask. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Croatian Parish, 180 Schweitzer St. Kitchener, on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
Considering Ivan’s lifelong devotion to the Catholic faith, donations in his memory may be made to Holy Family Catholic Croatian Parish or the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (cards available at the funeral home).
