(Honorary Life Member of the Galt Sportsmen’s Club; Avid target shooter and longtime safety instructor, 31 years as a load agent at Air Canada)
Peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the age of 87. Irvin Roman Gubala, beloved husband of the late Wilma (nee: Tolton). Loving father of Raymond Gubala (Jacqueline) of Toronto, Perry Gubala (Janis) of Parry Sound, Jill McCord (Jack) of Beaverton and Janice French (Ron, predeceased) of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Rachael, Sarah, Kayla, Dean, Meghan, Quinn, Darcey, Ashley, Tricia, Amanda, Aaron and their families, and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Hank Gale (predeceased) and brother-in-law of Audrey Baldwin and Joan Gylywoychuk. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Cremation will be followed by a private family inurnment at Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
