Hildegard Hilde Boeve Tuesday December 29th 2020

It is with deep sadness that our mom, Hildegard Boeve, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gunter, and many brothers and sisters in Germany, Mom was devoted to her family and faith. She will be remembered in the hearts of her children, Gerhard (Wendy), Juergen (Lynda) and Rolf (Roberta). Grandchildren Christina (Matthew), Courtney (Sariah Middleton), Peter (Shay), Jessica, Lindon (Coreen). Great grandchildren Jordyn, Callina, Karina, Brayden and Maximus.
Mom was an active member of the New Apostolic Church and enjoyed the wonderful fellowship with all the members and ministers. Mom was born on August 15, 1934 in Kaukehmen, East Germany (now part of Poland). During World War 2, mom’s family walked across Germany and settled in Meppen, West Germany. Through the church youth group, she met the love of her life, Gunter Boeve. They were married on Oct 3, 1954.They immigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in Winnipeg to raise their 3 sons. She worked for Palliser Furniture, Comfort Division until she retired. During her retirement she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom will always be remembered as a kind, gentle and generous loving soul.
