Godfrey Wallace 2020

With heavy hearts, Godfrey Glenroy (Glen) Wallace, 74, devoted husband, cherished father and family man, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, Ontario.
Glen was born and raised on the island of Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. At the age of 19 he immigrated to Canada, lived in Hamilton, and then settled in Sudbury. He worked as an underground miner for INCO, met his wife, and started a family. He was an avid music lover who loved to dance and had a passion for gardening.
He is survived by his wife Trudy of 47 years, his children Jasen Conrad (Catherine), Shelley Anne (Shawn), and Glenroy McPherson (Catherine), grandchildren Owen, Dominic, Ben, Phillip, Kyla, Evan, Alexandra, Liam, Gregory, Peter, Bridget, Mary, and Baby Girl Wallace (March 2020), brother Wayne, dear mother-in-law Annie, and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father James Conrad, mother Leotta Avis, brother Francis McPherson, father-in law Thomas Michael, brother-in-law Brian Christopher, nieces Robyn Michelle and Anne Madonna.
Visitation will be held from 6pm to 9pm, Monday, February 24, 2020 at Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Ontario.
Funeral service will be held at 10am, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Ontario, followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 4533 Municipal Rd, Chelmsford.
We would like to give our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Cardiology Doctors and nursing staff at Health Sciences North.
