Glenn Paquette
Glenn Paquette, 60, of Moncton
and formerly a long-time resident of New Glasgow, NS, with loving
members of his family by his side, passed away peacefully at the Dr.
Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday, January 14,
2020.
Born in Iroquois Falls,
Ontario, he was the son of Beverley (Cassel) of Florida and the late
Ronald Paquette.
Glenn was a retired Branch
Manager at Scotsburn Dairy with over 35 years’ service and
co-owner of Hands On Learning Centre in Moncton, Riverview and Nova
Scotia. He coached minor hockey in New Glasgow, NS for 20 years and
co-founded the Pictou County Female Hockey Association. In addition,
Glenn coached and co-founded the New Glasgow Minor Soccer Association.
An avid golfer, he was a member of Maplewood Golf & Country
Club.
In addition to his mother,
Glenn will be sadly missed by his wife of over 40 years, Rosemary
(Fraser) Paquette; children, Jeff Paquette of Ontario and Nicki
Paquette of Moncton; grandchildren, Callie, Abby, Mia and Ryan;
sister, Trina Cote of Alberta; brothers, Robert Paquette of New
Glasgow, NS and Kenny Paquette of Pictou
Landing.
Glenn’s family will
be receiving friends and relatives for a time of visitation and
sharing of memories at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00
pm.
In memory of Glenn, donations
to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Online
