Peacefully on Tuesday September 29, 2020 with his family by his side after a long hard fought battle against cancer, Glenn Hutt at the age of 77. Much loved husband of Faye (Buchanan) for 53 years and father of Cynthia (Jason Hughes), Sylvia (Paul Nicol), Phillip (Andrea), Paul (Sandra) and Julie (Yves Seguin). Adored grandfather of Keith, Pryce, Rebecca, Cole, Andrew, Bradley and the late Hailey. Predeceased by his parents Mearl and Mae Hutt, siblings Fred, infant Raymond, Colleen, Joe and Dale. Glenn was a hardworking man putting in long hours to support his family. His last 30 years before retirement was with M. Davis Landscaping, he was most happy there. The employer and his working buddies were so good to him they became his friends for life. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. on Saturday October 3 2020 from 10 am until 12 noon. A Memorial Service will be held privately. If desired memorial donations made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, 1500 Alta Vista Dr, Ottawa, ON K1G 3Y9 or plant a tree in Glenn’s memory at Tree Canada 43 Eccles Dr. Suite B, Ottawa, ON K1R 6S3 would be appreciated.
Please be advised that Covid-19 precautions are still in effect; we respectfully request that attendees wear a mask and that 6 feet of physical distancing measures be observed inside and outside of the funeral home. A limited number of people are permitted in the funeral home, line ups are not permitted.
