Goulais, Gladys (1943 – 2020)
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday, January 31st, 2020 at the age of 76 years. Daughter of the late Abraham Restoule and of the late Bridget Restoule (née Goulais). Dear mother of Robert Restoule, Cheryl Beaucage (Davey), Randy Beaudette (Rhonda), Lisa-Gayle Brett (Bill) and Michael Goulais (Kim). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Sister of Glenda (Michel), Geraldine, Fern, Terry (Jacqueline) and Earl (Tina). Predeceased by her brothers Raymond and Gary. Gladys was an active member of the Dokis Community Health Center; specifically with the children’s programs and the elder programs. In her downtime, she loved playing at the casino.The family will receive friends at Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday, February 7th, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and at the Dokis Community Centre Saturday, February 8th, 2020 beginning at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
