Gilbert Roger Depatie Tuesday November 24th 2020

Gilbert Depatie
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of a dear father, husband, brother and friend Gilbert Depatie. On Tuesday November 24th, 2020 he passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side. Loving husband and best friend of 57 years to Angele Depatie (née Martin). Cherished father to Raymond (Nancy) and Robert (Patty) Depatie. Devoted Pépère to Ricky (Morgan), Samantha and Stephanie (Marc). He will be profoundly missed by great grandchildren Draven, Phoenix, Einin and Reese. Born on December 29th, 1944 to the late Olida and Prescille Depatie (née Lafleur), Gil was one of eleven siblings. Marguerite (Gerry predeceased) (Richard), Georgette (JP), Albert (Ellen), Germaine (Florent), Jacqueline (Roger), Leonette (Vince predeceased), Laurent (Linda), predeceased by Marcel (Anita), Victor (Sue) and Gerald (Michelle), all of whom will miss their caring brother. Gil was a doting brother in-law to Archil (Sue), Maurice (Ellen), Rheal (Pierette), Jacqueline (Dan) and André (predeceased). Gil was also very close with his nieces and nephews, to whom he was more like a father than an uncle. Gil’s greatest joy and passion was his family. We will forever remember the times spent on the French, and the unforgettable memories made with family and friends. Due to current circumstances, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice are greatly appreciated. Arrangement entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. For donations or messages of condolence, www.lougheed.org
