Obituary of George Henry Tuer
TUER, George Henry
76 years, May 26, 2020. Born in Viewpark, Scotland, now in the arms of our Saviour he rests. Loving husband of Carol Anne (Forder). Loving father of Michael (Sherri) Tuer, Tina (Brian) Locknick, Georgette (Rob) Laliberty, Vickie Tuer, late Tammy Tuer (1987), David (Kathy) Morand, Lorri (Dale) D’Amore, Susan (Dan) Shelley, Kevin (Lisa) Morand. Loving grandpa of 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Mike Tuer and Anne Marie (Larry) Laliberti Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. George served from 1959 to 1961in the First Battalion Jump RCR. George retired in 1987 with 23 ½ years of service at Chrysler Canada, he was a member of Unifor 444 and the R.C.L.B. 338 in Harrow. A Private Visitation will be held on Friday May 29, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A celebration of George’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made by cheque to the R.C.L.B #338 Cenotaph Fund Box 436 Harrow N0R 1G0.
