Heike Gauer, most recently of Leduc, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Sunday December 06, 2020. Heike will be greatly missed by her son Kai, daughter Katya, son in law Cory and grandchildren Aidan and Haley.
She was a trailblazer from a young age, not one to follow the status quo she leaves a wonderful Legacy of courage, strength, humor, passion and love. You may have been tiny but you were one heck of a firecracker.
Mom aka Omi (as the kids affectionately called you) we will miss you dearly but know that you will always be in our hearts. Let your spirit soar free. You are loved.
Heike chose to forgo a celebration of life gathering during these times.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riseup Society in Leduc.
