Obituary of Gary Smith
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gary Henry Smith, age 68, husband of Patricia (Wilcox) Smith announces his death which occurred on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his residence. He was born on March 1, 1952 in Saint John, NB, a son of the late Henry and Beryl (Powell) Smith.
Gary loved the outdoors, he was a true hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife Pat; sons: Donald (Dawn) Good of Belleisle Creek, NB, Joshua (Cathy) Smith of Saint John, NB; daughter Kathryn (Leo) Duciaume of Moncton, NB; grandchildren: Amanda, Justin, Eden, Jonathan, Krisrin, Jean, Makenzie, Jamie May, Chantelle, Tyson; several great-grandchildren; brothers: Garnet Smith, Keith (Belinda) Smith, Tim (Heather) Smith, George (Margie) Smith, Anthony (Mona) Smith, Mark (Rhonda) Smith; sister Debbie (Doug) Pearson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Extra Mural nurses for the care and kindness during Gary’s illness.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus NB (506-433-1176) and will be held privately.
Donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the memorial of the donor’s choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
