Obituary of Gale Macaulay
MACAULAY, NORMAN GALE
Peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in his 96th year, Gale Macaulay, beloved husband of Virginia Macaulay for 74 years. Loving father of Joan (Bob) Bowman, Christine (David Henry) Macaulay , Marilyn Dodson and the late Gale Macaulay-Newcombe. Predeceased by his brothers Robert and Les (Winona) Macaulay. Dear sister-in-law of Norma Macaulay. Much loved grandfather of Jessica (Arron), Michelle (Matt), Daniel (Amanda), Clair (Roshaya), Kirsten and great-grandfather of Fiona, Reagan, Liam, Logan and Hunter. Gale was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, South Brant Branch, 463 and of All Saints Anglican Church, Mt. Pleasant. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will take place at a later date due to Covid restrictions. Memorial donations to All Saints Anglican Church, Mt. Pleasant gratefully appreciated.
