WARE, Frederick John
Fred died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre in his 91st year, on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 with family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Violet V. (Bowersox). Cherished father of Gary Ware of Orangeville, Brian Ware (Karen) of Sidney, BC, and Jed Showers (Jan) of Aaronsburg, PA.. He will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Dale (the late Becky), Ryan (Naomi), Amanda (Jasper) and Levi (Jan) and great-grandchildren: Max, Deona, Chylee, Liberty, Remington and Tegan. He was the dear brother of Winnifred Linkletter of Nova Scotia, Edwin Ware of Kitchener, and Shirley Ann McCauley of California. Fred worked for many years in maintenance and custodial duties with the Etobicoke Board of Educaion. Upon retirement, he and Violet spent several years summering at Birchbank Camp in Restoule and winters in Pennsylvania. Then later they settled in Powassan where they have been active in the Powassan United Church. Should you wish to make a donation in memory of Fred, Powassan United Church is suggested.
