God called Franca Modica peacefully on May 31, 2020 at the age of 91. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Filippo, her parents and 8 siblings. She will forever be missed by her dear children Tony (Anna) and Anna (Keith). She will always be cherished by her Grandchildren Marie, Anthony (Jennifer), Ann Francis (Stefan), Lisa (Dennis), Amanda (Kevin) and Michael (Amanda) and her Great Grandchildren Andrew, Cassandra, Maia, Hunter, Logan, Oliver, Tessa, Sawyer, Blake, Colton, Tristan, and Gabriella.
During this unprecedented time we understand if you are unable to attend the visitation time. Instead we welcome Family and Friends to leave a message and share stories to honor the life and Franca Modica on our memory wall. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In the meantime we continue to ask for your prayers, as Franca prepares to enter the kingdom of God

To the entire Modica Family:
So sad to hear about the passing of Franca Modica. I always remember her amazing humor and how she would always stay in contact by phone with my mother, Vitina Marchello. I remember the Marchello family re-unions and Franca sitting with Zia Maria, Zia Filipina and the rest of the family. I miss those times.
The last time I saw Franca was at my cousin Phil’s wedding. Even though her eyesight and her health was troubling her, she still attended the wedding. She was a warrior.
I am sure she is up in heaven, re-united with family already there, playing cards or dancing.
