Obituary of Evelyne Plant
Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday December 15, 2020. Evelyne Grace Plant (nee Fox) aged 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Ed” Plant. Proud mother of Bev Murchie (John), Neil Plant (Ruth), Gail Popejoy (Bill), Karen Plant (Gary), Brian Plant (Missy) and Lynn Valiquette,a daughter-in-law Linda Plant (Bob),and a special friend Wendy . Proud grandmother of 14 and of numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Plant is also survived by a sister Beatrice Smith, sisters-in-law Edna Fox, Myrtle Fox, Vi Fox,and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Grace Fox (nee Barton), a son Wayne Plant, a son-in-law Paul Valiquette, and siblings Charles Fox, Elmer Fox, Eliza Reid, Lucy Wing, Lula Rennick, Harry Fox, Jack Fox, Mildred Woofinden, Hazel Kirkland, Mansell Fox, Gordon Fox, Margaret Fox in infancy.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Friday December 18, 2020 from 1 – 4 p.m. A Private Family Celebration, Interment will be held at a later date.
