It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Brushett of Lunenburg and formerly of Dartmouth announces her passing on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Manuel Conception Bay,NL, Evelyn was a daughter of the late Lionel and Lenora (Goss) Squires.
Evelyn worked as the office manager with Department of Justice for over 33 years, retiring in 1995.
She is survived by her daughters, Veronica “Michele” ( Philip Street) Brushett, Lunenburg and Monique (Michael) Mosher, Fort St. James, BC; Anthony Brushett, Toronto; sister, Helen of Toronto and a brother, Lionel Squires of NL, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her companion, Merle Beers, son, Gregory, sisters, Daphnee and Sylvia.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. At Evelyn’s request there will be no memorial service and interment will be at a later date in NL.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to South Shore Palliative Care, or to the Adult Day Program of the VON.
