Eunice C. Mitton
1937-2020
It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Eunice Christina Mitton, age
83, of Sackville. Eunice passed away peacefully at the Drew
Nursing Home on Sunday, December 27, 2020 with her family by her
side.
Born in Fairfield, NB, she was a
daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth (Steeves) Mitton.
Eunice worked at several Special Care
Homes in the area, eventually becoming a Personal Care Worker in
people’s homes. She very much enjoyed playing cards and
attending Card Parties with friends. She was an avid dog
lover and loved her many dogs over the years.
She will missed by her daughter Debbie
(Acquila) Bourgeois, Sackville and her grandson Anthony (Bobbi Jo
Hicks), Memramcook, NB.
She was predeceased by her husband
Bernard McHugh; sister Annie and brothers Ronald and
Albert.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). In keeping with Eunice’s
wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Those wishing to make a donation in
Eunice’s memory may do so to the SPCA, the Canadian Diabetes, or a
charity of your choice.
