It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late ERNESTINE KELLY of
Mooring Cove announces her passing. Ernestine passed away at
her home in Mooring Cove on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the age of
87. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories
are her sons, Kev Kelly (Belinda) of Mooring Cove, Ambrose Kelly
(Lillian) of Houston, BC, James Kelly of Fort McMurray, Bill Kelly of
Mooring Cove, Anthony Kelly of Fort McMurray, Dave Kelly (Melissa) of
Fort McMurray, and Glen Kelly (Wanda) of Mooring Cove; daughters,
Gloria Harahan of Little Bay, Alice Kelly (Alonzo Brake) of Mooring
Cove, and Mary Kelly (Jim Brake) of Little Bay; 18 grandchildren, and
30 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Nolan (Florence) of Mooring
Cove; sisters, Madonna Nolan of Marystown, and Elizabeth Power of
Marystown; special friend and neighbor, Bridie Jenkinson;
her homecare workers, Kay Cross, Belinda Kelly, and Gladys Pardy; plus
a large circle of extended family and friends. Ernestine was
predeceased by her husband, James W. Kelly, great-grandson, Keegan
Stanford, parents, Alice and Luke Nolan; brothers, Frank, Chester,
Kevin, Joseph, and John-Pad Nolan; son-in-law, Jimmy
Hanrahan.
The Kelly Family will
accept visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in
Marystown. In order to maintain social distancing and to
follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through
visitation will take place on Friday,
July 24th, 2020 from 10am to 12pm, 2pm to 4pm, and
6pm to 9pm. A maximum of 20 people at any one time
permitted. A private funeral service will be held
at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on
Saturday, July 25th at
10:30am.
Interment will follow
at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in
Marystown.
In Earnestine’s memory,
donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or
flowers gratefully accepted.
