Passed peacefully away on October 21 at Carbonear General Hospital. Eric Richard Green of Heart’s Content aged 76 years. Predeceased by wife Iva Ash, father Raymond Green, mother Veronica Green (nee Seaward) and brother Raymond Green. Leaving to mourn are partner Marion, children Dennis (Susan), Melvin (Dawn), Sherry (Rob), Eric (Stacey), Nancy (Royce), Robert (Kerri), Tammy (Cody) and stepdaughter Kimberly (Frederick), 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sisters Winnie (Cyril) and Jane (Robert), brothers Jeff (Connie), sister-in-law Stella Green, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His home care workers Susan Coates and Karla Carpenter.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitation at Greens Funeral Home Winterton is by invitation only Thursday, October 22 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. A funeral will be held on Friday, October 23 at 2:30pm at St. Mary’s Church in Heart’s Content. Interment will follow at Heyfield United Cemetery.
