Obituary for Elsbeth Richter
February 26, 1922 to October 23, 2020
On October 23, 2020 Elsbeth Maria Richter took her final breath which reunited her with beloved husband Kurt Erik Richter. Elsbeth passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 98 at Lambton Meadowview Villa. Born in Germany, Elsbeth an only child, immigrated to Canada in 1952 to join her husband and start a new life with their eldest son Horst. In 1958 Elsbeth (and Kurt) purchased a farm in Petrolia, ON where they worked hard and raised their family. Elsbeth’s interests were centered around her family and spending time with friends.
Elsbeth was the beloved wife to the late Kurt (2002). Loving mother to Horst (Ellen) Richter, Walt (Candy) Richter. Proud Oma to TJ (Dani) Miller, Eric (Roxanne) Richter, Kyle (Sydney Card) Richter, and Mark Richter, and great Oma to Oliver Richter
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date.
