Elizabeth Pauline Black, wife of the late Hugh Black Jr., passed away Wednesday July 8, 2020 at Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, at the age of 92.
Born in Parker’s Ridge NB, she was the daughter of the late Stuart and Ada (Calhoun) Spencer. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Connell (Kenneth) of Fredericton, two sons, Harry Black of Miramichi and Richard “Ricky” Black (Carol) of Miramichi, two sisters, Gracie Green (Late Freddy) of Fredericton and Dixie Folkins (Lawrence) of Sus, four brothers, Terry Spencer (Ethel) of Holtville NB, Vaughn Spencer of Elliot Lake Ontario, Leroy Spencer (Joyce) of Fredericton and Del Spencer (Lilly) of Woodstock, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Brent and Stephen, one sister Jacquetta, four brothers, Reginald, Calvin, Blaine and Bertrand.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at St. Mark’s United Cemetery at a later date.
