Eileen Elizabeth (Taylor) Stewart of Bridgeview Hall, formerly of Matthew Settlement, NB, wife of the late Merlin Stewart, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her residence at the age of 90. Born in Sillikers, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice (Travis) Taylor. Eileen was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Branch # 90, Sunny Corner and an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 90. She was an avid dart player for many years.
Eileen is survived by: three daughters: Sandra Comeau (Yvon) of Nordin, NB; Susan Tozer (Wayne) of Matthew Settlement, NB; Laura Hare (Bruce) of Whitney, NB; special daughter: Julia Galatis of Miramichi, NB; three sons: Milton (Darlene) of Lyttleton, NB; Currie (Cindy) of Whitney, NB; Chris of Lower Derby, NB; three sisters: Gladys Foran of Fredericton, NB; Bernice Matchett (Robert) of Sillikers, NB; Jean Taylor of St. Catherine’s, ON; one brother: James Taylor (Elsie) of Miramichi, NB; 12 grandchildren: Kim, Robert, David, Kyle, Shauna, Tyson, Tyler, Stacy, Travis, Alex, Cassen and Zachary; 15 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband: Merlin, Eileen is predeceased by: four brothers: Peter, Bill, Art & Max; one sister: Marina and companion: Andréas Galatis.
The funeral service will be held from the Little Southwest Baptist Church, Sillikers, NB on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1 PM with Pastor Leslie Somers officiating.
Please note: Due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing are mandatory at the Funeral Service.
