In loving memory of Egidio Urso who passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at Health Sciences North at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 58 years to Teresa (Fragomeni) Urso of Sudbury. Loving father of Laura (David Flaherty) and Mark (Marika), and daughter in his heart Sue Verrilli, all of Sudbury. Very present and proud Nonno to Thomas (Jess), Darcie and Michael, and step-Nonno to Andrea and David. Especially close to his siblings Maia Reda (Vince), Nardo (Rita), Rudy (Ida), Elga Fragomeni (Pat), and Grace Honeyford (Doug). Remembered by his many nieces and nephews, often their top choice for a dance, to say grace or to share wine. He will be remembered for his quiet kindness and strength, his quick laugh, his willingness to build or fix things, his unique cooking and his love of gardening. Egidio spent many happy days at his camp on Manitoulin Island.
At Egidio’s request, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
