1954-2020
Unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, July 4,
2020 Edward Joseph Guitard of Oak Haven, NB. Born at Jacquet
River, NB, son of the late Eugene and Eleanor (Pelletier)
Guitard.
Edward is survived by his wife, Tammy Purdy of Oak Haven, NB,
daughter Nicole Guitard (Mark LeBlanc) of Saint John, NB,
grandchildren Chrissy Norman (Jeremy) and Caleb Norman,
great-grandaughter Luna Norman, step great grandsons, Jonathan and
Liam Morrison/McLaughlin, sisters Theresa and Shirley Guitar of Saint
John, brothers Edgar (Teri-favourite sister-in-law) of Saint John and
Alfred (Lucille) of BC, six sisters-in-law, several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his son,
Brian Guitard, brother David Guitar and niece, BJ
Guitard.
As per Ed’s request, no funeral service will be
held, but the family will receive friends and relatives at the home of
Tammy and Joyce Purdy at 302 Oak Haven Road, Oak Haven, NB from 1
– 3 pm on Friday, July 10, 2020.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Charlotte County
Cancer Society, Oak Bay Rural Cemetery or a charity of one’s
choice would be appreciated.
