Edith Aletha Regehr
March 20, 1927 – June 3, 2020
It is with much love that we mourn the loss of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Edith Regehr. She will be remembered for her strong faith, love of family, friends, music and life!
Edith was predeceased by her husband Edward; son Reginald; brothers Oscar & Herbert; and sisters Melita & Judy.
She will be lovingly missed by her daughter Kathy (Bill); granddaughter Jessica(Stefan), great-grandchildren Sawyer & Devyn; grandson Danny; granddaughter Rebecca (Tavis), great-grandchildren Cohen, Daxton, Declan and Maylo; grandson James (Heidi), great-grandchildren Helayna and Ruth; her son Barry; her daughter-in-law Marion; granddaughter Candace, great-grandchildren Ronan, Bodi, and Emily; and grandson Severan (Michelle).
She also leaves to mourn her sisters Erica and Elsbeth (Werner); sisters-in-law Verna and Alice (Irwin); brothers-in-law Walter, Gerry (Eula) and Art (Paula); along with many family and friends.
With special gratitude we thank the Tofield Health Centre staff and Doctor Jallad for their compassionate care during her last weeks. The past ten years in the Tofield Lodge, with Jan and her kind staff’s TLC, were always appreciated.
In accordance to Edith’s wishes a private family service will be held on a later date. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at the Tofield Cemetery on a later date. Donations in her memory can be sent to “MCC, 210-2946 32 ST. NE., Calgary, AB T1Y 9Z9” or charity of your choice.
