  1. Dorothy (and Peter) were institutions in the history of Gay Lea Foods Co-operative. Peter for his leadership and guidance, and Dorothy for her kindness. There are many employees here that still remember her Christmas kindness and baking for the employees (and how they were shared). Even after the sad loss of Peter in 2013, Dorothy continued to remain part of our broader family at retiree events; she will be forever missed. Our collective sympathies are with her entire family. Dorothy will be missed. We were fortunate to walk along the pathway even if for a short time.
