Donna Besteck Monday December 7th 2020

Donna Elaine Besteck (LaBossiere) was born in Winnipeg Nov 2, 1959 and lived all but 2 yrs of her life in Winnipeg.
Donna enjoyed working with people, especially children, and she worked in daycare, and part time foster care. Donna also enjoyed customer service and her combination of skills, personality, patience, and compassion, got her a “dream job” at Health Science Centre as a unit clerk in Emergency and later the HIV clinic where she worked for 10 yrs.
Donna was predeceased by both parents and daughter Andrea Elaine in 1984.
Mourning her passing are her husband of 35 yrs Terry Besteck, sons Justan and Drew, daughter Janine, grandsons Nico Raja and Jaxon Besteck, brother Darrel LaBossiere, sister Diane, as well as many other friends and family. A special thank you goes out to the doctors and medical staff and friends at Health Science Centre, especially Kelly and Shauna, for all their help and support in this difficult time. Donna touched so many lives, but always said it was them that touched hers. Donna passed away in her sleep Dec 7 after a courageous 2 yr battle with cancer at the age of 61.
Her pain is no more – Rest in peace.
Donna has been cremated and will join her daughter at Brookside Cemetery.
No service will be held due to Covid 19.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
