Né à Moncton, il était le fils de feu
Félicien et Eva Marie (Després)
Roy.
Donald travaillait au service
des pièces chez Lounsbury
Chevrolet.
Il laisse dans le deuil son
épouse, Sheila McCarthy; sa fille, AnnMarie Roy
à la maison; sa sœur Phyllis Pellerin (Ronald
“Ron”) d’Irishtown; son
frère, Jean-Paul “JP” (Annette)
d’Irishtown; sa nièce, Nicole Pellerin; son
neveu, Michael Pellerin; ainsi que plusieurs amies, amis, cousines et
cousins.
Il n’y aura pas de
visite au centre funéraire. Le service funéraire
sera célébré au Centre
funéraire et de crémation Frenette, 88, rue
Church, Moncton (858-1900) le jeudi 24 septembre à 11h. En
mémoire de Donald, un don à la Fondation des
Amis de L’Hôpital de Moncton (cardiologie) serait
apprécié.

My deepest condolences during this time, Darren Hebert.
Wish I could be there tomorrow for the service. Donald and my Mom, Shirley Bourque (nee Roy) were first cousins. My grandpa was his Uncle Charlie. But apparently my grandma, Lena, and their Mom Eva didn’t get along so the two brothers and their families rarely got to see each other. Mom figures no one there would even know who she is and is ashamed of how Lena behaved so doesn’t want me to go. But I want to wish condolences on behalf of our family. He was only 3 years older than I am and one year younger than my brother who is also named Donald. I am guessing heart problems run in the family as my gramp Charlie died from a heart attack and strokes also (back in 1988). So sorry for your loss and wish we could connect online and exchange photos and stories. Felicien was slso my Mom’s godfather and we don’t even have any photos of him.😞😢Angela
