Donald G. Kennedy
1941-2020
Donald “Donnie” George Kennedy, 78 of Royalton, NB passed
away peacefully on August 11, 2020 at his home surrounded by his
family. Born on August 19, 1941 in Summerfield, NB Donnie was the son
of the late Delmer and Georgia (Green) Kennedy. He was also
predeceased 1 grand daughter, Kate Lynn Kennedy and 1 sister, Alberta
Kinney.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia; 2
children, Dana Kennedy (Tracey) and Kim Caldwell (Frank); 3 grand
children, Derwith Kennedy (Jaden), Jaclyn Caldwell and Jillian
Caldwell (Jordan); step grand daughter, Franki Jean Caldwell; 1 great
grand daughter, Rylee Logan; 2 sisters, Anna Rees (Ronald) and Norma
Guyder as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Donnie was a cheerful man who always wanted to chat with everyone and
anyone, allowing his love for the Lord to guide him through life. He
will be dearly missed by family and friends.
A family graveside service will be held in the Summerfield Cemetery.
Respecting Covid – 19 and Social Distancing requirements a Celebration
of Donnie’s Life will be held at their home 1385 Rte 110 Royalton on
Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 2:30- 4:30 pm, all are welcome.
Honorary pallbearers chosen by Donnie are, Eugene Antworth, Brian
Kilpatrick, Robert Green, Clayton Ricketts, Gerald Graham and Dale
“Porky” Brooker.
In Lieu of flowers donations made to the River de Chute Pentecostal
Lighthouse Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
Donnie’s family would like to thank Dr. Carter Kennedy and nurses from
the Extra Mural Program for the care and attention that was
shown.
