Obituary of Derek Simmerson
Simmerson, Derek Jordan William
Passed away suddenly at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Thursday November 19th 2020 at the age of 34. Much loved son of Robert Simmerson, and Lynda Malec (Robert). Dear brother of Devin Simmerson (Jessica), and Magin Malec. Derek will be remembered by his grandparents Jim Simmerson and Barb Leeder; predeceased by Aqualina Buenafe and Gene DesRosier. He will be missed by his fury companion ‘Andre the Giant’, aunt, uncles, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia (705) 327-0221 on Sunday November 29 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to The Lighthouse Soup Kitchen and Shelter – Building Hope through the Simcoe Funeral Home (705)327-0221. Messages of condolence are welcomed www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
