Obituary for
Denise Gagnon (Quesnel)
GAGNON, Denise (née Quesnel)
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our caring, beautiful, loving mother and grandmother, Denise Gagnon (née Quesnel) on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the age of 78 years.
Born on February 8, 1942 in Sturgeon Falls, Denise was the daughter of the late Trefflé and Odile (Monette) Quesnel. Besides her parents, Denise was predeceased by her special friend Douglas Grenon and her first husband, Marcel Gagnon.
She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Geneviève, Roger, Gilbert (Clairette), Yvonne, Alfred (Claire), Rolland (Patricia), Yvon (Evelyn), Gilberte Rodgers (Fred), Colette, Pierrette Landriault (Raymond) and Denis (Lynette). Denise is survived by her sisters Rollande Marleau (Onésiphore predeceased) of Sturgeon Falls and Alfredette MacDonald (John predeceased) of Vancouver.
Left to mourn are her loving children Carole-Anne, Pierrette, “Joe” Marcel (Patti), Guy (Thérèse) and Martin. She will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Alexandre and Sarah as well as her Goddaughter, Denise Landriault.
Denise will be remembered for being kind, loving, full of life and inspirational to all. Her family was her entire world. She will be a beautiful memory within everyone’s hearts and will never be forgotten. We love you Mom. It’s time to spread your wings and fly like an angel.
Due to the current pandemic, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held in Sturgeon Falls in the Spring of 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or the Medical Marijuana Trust, would be greatly appreciated.
