Denis Bourque
1965 ~ 2020
Moncton, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Bourque, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 55 years old.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Normand and Maria Bourque (born Bourgeois).
Denis was proud of his work at Atlantic Lottery (25 years) and the many life-long friends he made there. Anyone who knows Denis, knew that he was generous, kind and loved to laugh. He was the first one to help a friend in need and always had a shoulder to lean on. He loved watching and playing golf, curling, baseball and hockey (including cheering for his beloved HABS). He also had a love for the cottage and all it offered including the water, boating, fishing for quahaugs, cooking lobster and sitting by the campfire at night. He was loved unconditionally by his family and will be greatly missed.
Besides his mother, Maria; he leaves with fond and loving memories his wife, Michelle Majeau; his precious daughter, Sara of Moncton; his two sisters, Isabelle Babineau (Bernard) and Nathalie Bourque (Michel Richard) both of Dieppe; his niece, Alexis and his nephews, Julien, Mathieu and Jacob; he also leaves behind the mother of his daughter, Tracey Suley of Moncton and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held for the immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his honor can be made to a charity of your choice.
