Deborah Lori Walker 2020

Obituary
Debbie Walker of Calgary, AB gained her wings on August 6, 2020 at the Foothills Hospital with her loving family by her side. After fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer, she was 62 years of age.
Mom loved going on road trips to the mountains and spent a lot of her youth camping and traveling with her parents which she truly cherished. Sitting and laughing about her boundless adventures was one of the many things mom enjoyed. She also enjoyed playing darts as she was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Mom loved life and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. These are times she always treasured.
Debbie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Stephanie and Kristy Gordon; grandson Braeden Gordon-McGaffey; niece Tyshla Morgan; nephew Bill Holdershaw; great niece Alacia Holdershaw; great great niece Jemma Holdershaw; and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Norman R. Holdershaw in 1992, her father James (Jim) Walker in 1995 and her mother Hazel (Loy) Walker in 2008.
We would like to extend thanks to everyone for their outpouring of help and support with mom’s journey. To all the staff and healthcare workers at the Foothills Hospital, a special thank you.
Debbie will be missed by all.
