Obituary of Deb McIntosh
Deb McIntosh (nee Vaughan)
On December 13th, surrounded by family, Deb passed peacefully after a brief battle with cancer.
The loving wife of Ron and beloved mother of Alan (Lindsay), Tracy (Jason), Kiel (Crystal), and the late Lindsay. Proud Gramma to Brett, Jack, Taylor, Carter, Charlie, Abby, Tenley, Noah, and Christie.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Ann (late Ron Stong) and brother Paul (Kim) as well as extended family Judy (late Erhart Szyiko), Dave (Teri) and many nieces and nephews.
Deb graduated the Scarborough Regional School of Nursing and in her career made a difference in many lives including, but not limited to, OCC Pediatric Rehab, Ophthalmic Genetics Research at UofT, The Hospital for Sick Children, and Camp Couchiching.
Deb grew up in Markham and remained an active member of the community. Her smiling face was recognizable at No Frills and in many organizations such as St Patrick’s Church, Markham Skating Club, CHATS, and parent school counsels.
She loved life, her family, and her generosity to other knew no limits.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to our neighbours and family and friends for the outpour of support, and the staff at Markham Stouffville and St Michaels Hospital for the care over the last few months.
A celebration of life will be arranged at a later time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Plan Canada, The Good Shepherd, The Covenant House or the charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Deb
