Obituary for
David Ellis George Simpson
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, David Ellis George Simpson, at the age of 64 years. He passed away May 8, 2020 shortly after suffering from an aneurysm.
David was born in Cobourg, Ontario on February 5, 1956 to the late Ellis and Phyllis Simpson.
He is survived by two daughters; a son; five grandchildren; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews. David lived for most of his life in Edmonton, Alberta, and he will be missed by his many friends. He was a very talented musician, and his music will play on with love in our hearts. Cremation has taken place.
At a later date, friends in Edmonton will gather together to celebrate Dave’s Life.
Eventually, interment will take place with family in Cobourg, Ontario.
