David Keith Hackwell, formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on May 25, 2020. Born in Walton, Ontario July 25, 1937 son of the late Wesley and Edna Hackwell. Predeceased by his wife Torrey (Crozier), sister Audrey McLlwain and brother-in-law Ed Smith. He is survived by his siblings June Smith of London, Reid Hackwell (Diane) of London, brother-in-law Jack McLlwain of Seaforth, many nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew. Dave worked for the Department of Highways and later the Molson Brewing Company. He was a horse lover and was well known in Ontario Harness Racing. Dave was a regular at “Frankies” (Former Festival Motor Inn) and the Arden Park Hotel and will be missed by many friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
