Daniel’s Obituary
ROBICHAUD, Daniel Ernest – age 61, Central North River, Colchester Co., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Central North River as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born August 24, 1958 in Yarmouth, he was a son of Ernest and Shirley (Saulnier) Robichaud, Yarmouth. Daniel was a long-haul truck driver for Connor’s Trucking, having also worked for DeMone Monuments, Bridgewater as well as for the Town of Bridgewater. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball and was known to be a great pitcher. He was an avid motorcyclist and was passionate about music, having the ability to play many instruments. When he wasn’t busy at work or playing music, Daniel also loved playing pool and golf. Aside from his parents, Ernest and Shirley, Daniel is survived by a brother, Preston Robichaud (Heather), Surette’s Island and a sister, Arlene Hubbard (Clinton), Yarmouth, as well as by a former sister-in-law, Jennie and several nieces and nephews, Trevor, Amanda, Cory and Craig, as well as great nieces and great nephews, Hayden, Helena, Liam and Ciara. He was predeceased by his partner of nearly 25 years, Charlotte D’Appolonio. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service and interment will take place at 1 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth, Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Donations in Daniel’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
