Cynthia Lynn (Forsyth) Turton passed peacefully at home on Thursday, March 19, 2020 in her 58th year. Beloved wife of Michael Turton. Loving mother of Steven, Jason, Matthew and Alana Turton. Survived by her father Doug Forsyth (Sandi Bane), sister Patti Forsyth-Stevenson (Dale Stevenson) and brother Doug Forsyth (Joann Wylie). Predeceased by her mother Annie (Pat) Forsyth.
The family extend and invitation to a celebration of Cindy’s life at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland during the hours of 2-5 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. A service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 am.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada or Breast Cancer Research would be gratefully acknowledged.
For those unable to attend, please take a moment to leave a message of condolence or share a special story of Cindy on the Memory Wall above for the family. We will also be adding a recording of the funeral ceremony to this site on Wednesday afternoon.
In light of the current COVID-19 situation, please be advised that we have implemented prevention measures and recommend that guests follow common precautionary practices should you plan to attend.

Hand sanitizing stations will be available at entrances/exits and in all rooms
Seniors over the age of 70, immuno-comprised or anyone showing signs of illness should not attend
A limit of 50 guests will be allowed in at a time
NO physical contact (hand shaking or hugging) is strongly recommended
Adequate self distancing from family members and staff suggested
An “every other” seating plan will be in place for the service
Donations will not be taken in person, please complete online or by phone

So very sorry to hear of Cindys passing.. I met her at South Edwardsburgh Public School. some years ago when I voluntered for hot lunches. She was always smiling and cheerful. We wer always happy to see Cindy. The children loved her.. My condolences to her family and friends. Bernice Landon
