Obituary of Cora Dalrymple
Dalrymple, Cora Elizabeth – 81 of Serenity Lodge, Enfield, formally of Rawdon Gold Mines passed away August 6th, 2020 at Serenity Lodge. Born April 18th, 1939 in Rawdon Gold Mines she was the daughter of the late Seymour and Edna (Barron) Harvie.
Cora spent her working career at Maritime Tel & Tel until her retirement in 1989. She enjoyed going bowling, playing darts, card games and attending parties or social gatherings with friends and family. Cora was an exceptional community worker. She was a member of the AUCW church organization and was involved in the senior’s café.
She is survived by brothers Aubrey (Pauline), Gary (Paulette), Keith, Laurie (Sheila), sisters Elsie Wile, Etta Fletcher, Faye Buchanan, sister-in-law Eva Harvie and many nieces and nephews.
Cora is predeceased by husband Edmund Dalrymple, brother Ernest Harvie, in-laws Maude Harvey, Marilyn Harvey, Russell Wile, Bobby Fletcher, Hugh Buchanan.
The family would like to extend a big thanks to the wonderful staff at Serenity Lodge for the care and support given to Cora.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in the West Gore Cemetery in the later part of August. Donations in memory of Cora can be made to West Gore Cemetery or Rawdon United Church.
