Cody Robert Murray Black, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Peterborough, ON, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 36 years.
He had an outgoing, magnetic personality and an amazing sense of humour. His unforgettable dance moves and contagious smile would light up a room. Cody always had the tendency to make everyone laugh in any situation. He would put others before himself and would give the shirt off his back. He made many friendships and touched many lives.
Cody was a devoted, thoughtful and loving spouse, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His children were the light of his life and his family was his pride and joy.
He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Kayla; daughter Mira; son Brady; father Mark; mother Kimberly; brother Colin; nephews Landon and Aydin; and will be dearly loved and forever missed by all of his immediate and extended family, and his many friends.
Cody was predeceased by his grandparents Robert and Elizabeth Black, and Patricia Twomey.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Cody’s blessed life will be determined at a later date.
