Obituary of Clifford John Belch
Peacefully at QHC-Trenton Memorial Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2020 in his 88th year. Son of the late Clifford Sr. and Mildred Belch. Beloved husband of Peggy Belch of Belleville. Loving father of Chris Shin of Belleville and Lindsey Belch (Denise Mantell) of Odessa. Proud Grandpa of Nicholas (Kimberly) Chen, Philip Chen, Melanie (Adrian) Scutti and Nicole (Sam) Hanna and great grandpa of Chiara and Levi. Dear brother of Barbara (Robert) Wannamaker, Mildred Acorn, Sterling (Donna) Belch, JoAnne (William) Goodfellow, Alec (Bobbi) Belch and Elizabeth Davis. He is predeceased by his sisters Betty Moore, Mary Lumley, Muriel Gagne and by his brother Richard Belch. Cliff is loved and missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Cliff was a leader in the community and will be remembered by the many lives he touched. Arrangements entrusted to the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel (613-968-2273). Due to the Covid 19 crisis, a private service for the immediate family will be held at Belleville Cemetery. A Spectacular Celebration of Cliff’s Life will be held when we can gather safely. The family extends their most sincere appreciation for the outstanding care provided by the staff at Belleville General and Trenton Memorial Hospitals.
