Chris Parent 2020

Chris Parent
Peacefully on May 31, 2020, at the age of 46. Loving husband and best friend of Jacqueline for 21 years. Much loved father of Ethan and Ally. Dear brother of Dave and wife Debbie, Larry and partner Charlene. Dear brother-in-law of Jill Young and husband Jim. Predeceased by his parents, Don (2007) and Ellen (2017). Survived by his father and mother-in-law Dave and Gloria Tulp. Chris will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Close friend of Andre Gingras.
Chris worked for Windsor Fire and Rescue for 15 years as a Senior First Class Firefighter. Previously, Chris worked for Windsor/Es EMS as an Advanced Care Paramedic. He loved to coach his son in hockey, and was a long suffering Maple Leafs fan. Ally’s evolution as a ball player was especially treasured. He also enjoyed travelling, especially his recent trip to Rome. Chris was a huge movie buff, and family movie nights were thoroughly treasured.
If you so desire, donations to Hospice Residential Homes-Windsor or Windsor & Es County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Please contact Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to arrange for a visitation appointment for Wednesday June 3, 2020.
A Private Funeral Service will take place.
Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
A celebration of Chris’ life will take place at a later date.
